Yesterday, I went to World of JJ, a card shop. Over there, they sell many different cards such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Duel Masters and Pokemon. Now I would be talking about Yu-Gi-Oh.
Yu-Gi-Oh is basiclly a card game that involves monsters, traps and spells.
Monster Cards are your essential cards used while dueling.
When you play a Monster Card, you can play it in one of two ways. Either face-up attack postition or face-down Defense Position.Monster Cards have two numbers on the bottom that usually matter, ATK and DEF. ATK only applies when in Attack Position, and DEF only applies when in Defense Position during the Battle Phase, but certain cards may still call upon either of these values no matter what position the monster is in. Monsters also have an Attribute, and a Type. Skilled Manipulation of these further variables will allow you to distort ATK and DEF to your advantage.
Spell Cards are green-colored cards that have various effects to alter the play of the game. Often, a Spell Card has a single effect to provide a bonus to the user or a weakness to the opponent.
Trap Cards are violet-coloured cards that have various effects to make things difficult for your opponent or easier for you in a Duel. A Trap Card must be Set and can only be activated after the current turn has finished, with a few exceptions.
Decks of cards are made with a minimum of 40 cards. The objective of the game is make your opponent's life points become zero or m,ake your opponent's deck become zero.
My deck is called a deck-out deck, which makes the opponent's deck become zero. It is rather succesful most of the time, which means in win most of the time.It is fun to play with, but it is rather annoying.

28th January 2009
Last Wednesday, we had our class outing. We were to go to E-Hub for Bowling.
I met Zhi Rui and Bryan at the Pasir Ris MRT station. After that, we went to eat at a KFC nearby. We then rushed to E-Hub as we were running late.
When we reached there, we were surprised by the huge number of people we saw. We then had two rounds before going home.
Although the outing was a rather short one, I had fun nonetheless.

Chinese New Year
Last Monday, the Chinese New Year started. I had a boring Chinese New Year this year.
On the first day of CNY ( Chinese New Year), we woke up very early and went to visit our maternal and paternal grandparents. We collected in total, $382.
On the second day, we did not went anywhere much and stayed at home most of the time. I was very bored.
Although I did not have a exciting CNY, I sue hope the rest of you did.

Chinese New Year Celebrations
On the Friday before last week, we had our Chinese New Year Celabrations.
The day started pretty the same as everyday. After we had our Geography lesson, those that had to go for the performance left. We spent the whole of the Maths period touching up the classroom.
After that, we left for the celebrations. No offense to the person-in-charge of the celebrations, but I found it pretty boring.
After the celebrations, we were dismissed at 12.30pm. We left for home after that.
